Originally from New York, Joanie was a registered nurse in a major NYC emergency room. It was there that she learned the importance of conducting spot-on assessments, evaluations, and plans of action. She later attended Brooklyn Law School, was admitted to the New York State bar, and worked for the same hospital as an Associate General Counsel. While there she honed her contract, negotiation and zealous advocacy skills. Her clients loved working with her, often citing her easy-going manner, dedication and perseverance.

Joanie jokes that her love for real estate is inherent in her last name, “Hauswald”, which literally means “house in the forest”. Prior to moving to Naples, she and her husband successfully bought and sold several homes in Manhattan and Long Island; she has always believed in the power of real estate as an investment.

Joanie, her husband and their beloved dog, Charlie, moved to Naples three years ago where they enjoy a glorious Floridian lifestyle and partake in all paradise has to offer. Joanie believes buying and selling real estate is as much a financial transaction as it is an emotional investment.
